The Zion Narrows Bottom Up to Big Springs Trail — Zion National Park, Utah
Completed Nov 26, 2022
- Tracking your hike with AllTrails does not work here. It claimed I hiked 12,000 ft of elevation
- I walked roughly 2 miles through the Virgin River and 2 miles back
- If I wasn’t instantly cold the second I started and if I was in better shape, I would have went further. The hike was not easy!
Due to the weather being a low of 19° and a high of 52°, I decided to rent the DRY PANTS PACKAGE from Zion Outfitter. If you already have gear to keep you warm and ankles secure, great! Just make sure you have some sort of hiking stick to help you from falling. I did fall in once and had to switch to my backup gloves. Good thing I rented the WATERPROOF BACKPACK!
In the future, I’d LOVE to do this hike on a hot Summer day!
